Mumbai: Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power and one of India’s largest clean energy companies, has set a new benchmark by commissioning 752 MW of solar projects in Q1 FY26, marking a 112% year-on-year growth from 354 MW in Q1 FY25.
This is the company’s highest-ever quarterly solar capacity addition to date.

The milestone underscores Tata Power Renewable Energy’s industry-leading project execution capabilities, enabled by cutting-edge engineering practices, robust supply chain management, and a strong focus on quality, safety, and cost optimization.

- 752 MW solar capacity commissioned (vs. 354 MW in Q1 FY25)
- 5.6 GW of total utility-scale operational renewable capacity (4.6 GW solar + 1 GW wind)
- Targeting 7.3 GW total capacity by FY26-end (5.6 GW solar + 1.7 GW wind)
- Plans to commission 1.7 GW of owned utility projects and 1 GW of third-party capacity during FY26
